Procurement Administrator

Role: Procurement Administrator
Location: Maasdijk, The Netherlands
Main Purpose
As Procurement Administrator, you will service administrative tasks and act as a bridge between Halls’ departments and suppliers. You will work closely with the sourcing team to build and maintain stable, long-term supplier relationships.
Position
The Procurement Administrator is managed by and reports to the Commercial Director.
Main Tasks/Responsibilities
- Develop strong relationships with suppliers and internal Halls departments to ensure a smooth sourcing process
- Draft and administer commercial supplier agreements (weekly)
- Prepare and share weekly market reports
- Organize and follow up on weekly progress meetings with suppliers
- Serve as the first point of contact for Quality, Commercial, Logistics, and Accounts teams
- Champion daily stock reports and participate in daily commercial meetings
- Check QC intake reports and provide commercial context to suppliers
- Maintain the sourcing summary and log, track, and communicate supplier claims
- Assist buyers with European-wide purchasing
Knowledge and Experience
- Experience in fresh food or fast-moving consumables is favoured, but motivated candidates with affinity for the sector are encouraged to apply
- Good PC literacy, including MS Office at a working level
Skills and Qualifications
- Multilingual: High proficiency in English & Spanish required; French & Arabic are a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional interpersonal and supplier service skills
- Strong organizational and analytical abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or an agricultural field
- Must live within 30 km of Maasdijk
- Requisite working permits for the Netherlands

- Office-based in Maasdijk
- Full-time role, Monday to Friday
- Independent transport required
- Occasional evening contact and travel to suppliers
